Thou Shalt Not

We have a sign in our kitchen that says:

“Speak kind words, receive kind echoes.” 

Today, Sam came up with a great idea.  He suggested we hang up signs around the house like that one.  Signs that say things we aren’t allowed to say in our house. 

Sarah thought it was a great idea and started throwing out suggestions.  “Yeah, like don’t say ‘dumb’.”

Sam said, “Or don’t say ‘stupid’.”

I said, “Or don’t say ‘I hate you’.”

Sarah said “Or don’t say ‘I don’t like vitamins’.”
