[Day Three]  Longwood Gardens
Thousands of acres of gorgeous gardens--- topiary bushes, treehouses, a huge conservatory with every plant you could imagine.  The kids and I spent an entire day exploring.  Loved it!

[Day Four]  Sunday
Church and plans for a Philadelphia drive... instead, we had tantrums and whining and the drive was vetoed.

[Day Five]  Philadelphia Zoo
America's FIRST zoo!!  (That's what I love about Philadelphia!  EVERYTHING has significant history behind it.)  Today was delightful, thanks to an awesome zoo and great friends!  I didn't take any pictures this day.  Sarah did, however.  Tons and tons and tons of pictures.

[Day Six] CLEAN THE HOUSE!!
We needed a major catch up day.  The house was a disaster so we got it whipped into shape.

[Day Seven]  National Constitution Center and Trolley Tour
Dave finally got to join in the fun starting today!  He took a week off, at my kind request ("Take a week off or I just may drive off a cliff!!").  We went to Old City Philly and started off with some lunch from a sidewalk vendor.  Hot dogs and cheese-steaks... mm-mm!  Then we visited the National Constitution Center.  We watched a very inspiring movie about our beloved country and explored some interesting exhibits.  This was my favorite:

We spent the rest of the afternoon taking a tour of the Philadelphia area.  We started on a Trolley, got off at the Rocky stairs to explore, and got back on a double decker bus.  Everyone was very sick of pictures so we didn't get much to document the day, unfortunately.  But we sure did love it.  It was a very HOT day so that was an issue with no air conditioning.  (We were particularly worried about Gracie and we worked extra hard to keep her from getting dehydrated,  She was a trooper!  Not very many babies could've handled the afternoon as well as she did.)  But we learned a LOT about the city and got to see many of the must-see sites.      Plus the kids got to fulfill their "life-long dream" of riding on a double decker bus!
